Autoverse offers two tiers of parts — Genuine CAT parts sourced from the original supply chain, and Autoverse Engineered parts manufactured to OEM tolerances. Each tier has different warranty coverage. We make this distinction transparent so you can choose what’s right for your application.
Autoverse Engineered parts: 6-month warranty
All Autoverse Engineered parts are covered by a 6-month replacement warranty from the date of purchase, against defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
What’s covered
- Manufacturing defects
- Premature failure under normal operating conditions
- Material defects not visible at the time of installation
What’s not covered
- Damage from improper installation
- Damage from use in applications the part wasn’t designed for
- Wear from normal use beyond the warranty period
- Damage from accidents, modifications, or use of incompatible fluids or lubricants
- Consequential or incidental damages
How to make a warranty claim
If an Engineered part fails within the 6-month warranty period:
- Email support@autoverse.ae with your order number, the part SKU, and a description of the failure
- Include photographs of the failed part and, where applicable, the installation
- Our technical team reviews your claim within 3 working days
- If approved, we arrange a replacement of the same part. Where the same part is no longer available, a refund of the original purchase price is issued
We may request the failed part be returned to our warehouse for inspection before issuing a replacement or refund.
Genuine CAT parts: no Autoverse warranty
Genuine CAT parts sold by Autoverse are sourced from the US market for the UAE region. Manufacturer warranty coverage on these parts is generally limited to their original distribution territory and may not transfer to other regions. This is a standard practice across the parallel-import industry, not specific to Autoverse.
We do not offer an Autoverse-backed warranty on Genuine CAT parts. We’re transparent about this so customers can make an informed choice between:
- Genuine CAT — no Autoverse warranty, original-brand certainty
- Autoverse Engineered — 6-month Autoverse replacement warranty, OEM-tolerance equivalent
If full manufacturer warranty coverage is critical for your application, we recommend purchasing the part through an authorized regional dealer of the original manufacturer.
